Last Friday middle school
did a performance in the auditorium to show the parents their unique talents.
It was fantastic. I think they proved that they had fantastic talents.
First up their theme was
about water. You know how important water is, right?
Secondly, they did a dance
called: The Water Cycle. Wow, won’t they
be dizzy after all that twirling?
But my favorite part of that
song or dance was when Uncle Dang pops out of a garbage bin.
Third, was a group of kids playing an instrument called ukulele. The song was about a taniwha. Their costumes were green t-shirt and shorts. In the background there were singers to support the ukulele people’s singing. It’s really hard to strum and sing at the same time. But I have to say that they strummed together nicely. It sounded just like heaven.
Fourth was the second dance called: Proud Mary. They must be proud of their dance. The thing that really amazed me was when two boys did a cartwheel. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I thought it was ridiculous to see boys doing things that girls mostly do.

Next was a dance called: Singing
in the Rain. I loved how they swooped down to 3 lines and some of their heads
went one way and the others went the other way. The boys had moustaches which were
hilarious. The song really reminded me of the rain.
The last dance was - Let it
Snow. It was beautiful. They looked like
icy snowflakes gently floating down from the sky.
It’s hard to choose but I
loved Let it Snow. It was taught by
marvelous Ms. Madden. There were 30 magnificent girls. They wore pale white t-shirts
and a magical fluffy white skirt. They danced together nicely. It looked
magical, like we were in an enchantment. I wished there was dance like this
every year.
That was a fantastic show. I
really enjoyed it. People who missed it,
must come back next year to see the Middle Schools performance.
